Factors Affecting Heat Transfer Coefficient of Plate Heat Exchangers

Compared with other equipment, plate heat exchanger has high heat exchange efficiency, convenient cleaning and simple maintenance. It is one of the main equipment of heat exchange station in the central heating project. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the three main factors affecting the heat transfer coefficient of equipment, so as to achieve better heating quality:

1. Pressure drop control of plate heat exchanger

The pressure loss of the equipment is an important point to consider. The pressure loss of the primary network of the larger district heating project is basically about 100kPa, which is more economical and reasonable. Under this condition, the heat exchange area obtained can not only meet the requirements of the working condition, but also save investment. According to the above conditions, the pressure loss of the equipment is set at about 50kPa. If this value is set at 30kPa, the corresponding heat exchange area will increase by about 15%-20%, which will cause the corresponding initial investment and maintenance costs to rise. But in some 1 time network work pressure is low, the requirement of small pressure drop in the project, there are also selected the latter situation.

2. Working parameters

The influence of operating parameters on heat transfer coefficient is obvious. Can be designed and checked plate heat exchanger, working parameters will affect the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer area, in the field of air conditioning, in the selection of equipment will often get a larger heat transfer area, because the air conditioning unit heat transfer of △ TM is small reason.

3. Plate embossing

The original plate of the equipment is pressed with regular corrugations, which can strengthen the disturbance of the fluid in the flow channel and achieve the purpose of enhancing heat transfer. Due to the different design ideas and process conditions, the plate wave spinning type is not the same. Take the herringbone pattern as an example, the Angle of the herringbone pattern determines the pressure loss and heat transfer effect, and the obtuse Angle herringbone pattern provides high resistance and large heat transfer power. Acute herringbone provides low resistance and little heat transfer power.

Product design can be optimized according to the characteristics of each application. If the flow of one side and two sides of the cycle is different, the equipment can be configured according to a specific proportion of each corrugated sheet to obtain a large heat transfer efficiency, the better the energy saving.
